Lucanet always creates a journal entry for every booking, whether it has been imported, entered via Excel, or created directly in Lucanet. You can easily view these journal entries from the ‘Journals’ worksheet or simply by double-clicking the amounts in your reports.
For your usual analysis and control activities in Lucanet, this is often more than sufficient. However, stakeholders (for example your accountant) who do not work in Lucanet may want an overview of all entries made in Lucanet in addition to the data from the financial systems. For this purpose you can use the Booking Report in Lucanet.
You can generate the booking report via the ‘Options’ menu at the top of your screen:
There are several configuration options available for the booking report you are about to generate. Make sure you choose MS Excel as the output format. Below is an example configuration:
Lucanet generates a booking report that contains a lot of information. Below you can see a compressed preview. The columns showing the time and user who created the booking, as well as the modification date and user, are not included in this screenshot. In the booking report you can of course also apply Excel filters to tailor the report exactly to your needs. An ideal overview for your accountant!
